1. Choose Your Design
We can use any of our existing patterns or use them as a springboard to mix and match elements to create something uniquely yours. Don’t see anything you like? We can design something new from scratch!
2. Choose Your Materials + Colors
We can help you tailor the materials to suit your space and desired look. Featuring 100% hand-carded and hand-spun Tibetan wool, pure Chinese silk and natural nettle fibers, Lulu uses only the finest materials available on the market. Our unique experience mixing different fibers to create interesting blends and textures sets Lulu apart from other brands.
Colors can be customized to complement your room. We have our own set of proprietary colors or we can dye to match a sample of anything you bring us. Our dedicated staff will work with the finishes in your room to take out the guesswork and guide you to the best colors and blends for your rug.
3. Choose Your Size + Shape
We can use any of our existing patterns or use them as a springboard to mix and match elements to create something uniquely yours. Don’t see anything you like? We can design something new from scratch!
4. Approve + Finalize
We can prepare a computer rendering for visualization of your custom project. A woven strike-off sample is then made for approval before the final piece is put into production.
Weaving a rug to order typically takes about 5 months, though very large or complex projects may take longer. It may seem like a long wait, but it’s well worth it to have the perfect foundation for your room that will endure for many years to come.
